Party link

The Party card on the app's Together page links your character to your account and makes a party with the people you are playing with.

What it does

Party link shares your bar 8 cooldowns and spirit with the members of your party who run the app, once a second, and shows theirs in a party row on the overlay. The app does not read bar 8 yet; until it does, only sample states travel.

Link your character

Linking sends your character name to the server. It is used only to find you when someone invites that name, and only members of a party you confirmed see it. Unlink removes it.

You need to be signed in on the app with friends and teams switched on, and to have a Fellowship name (see Together).

Make a party

Type the other three character names, or pick friends. Each of them confirms in their own app. Check who proposed it and the names. Confirm only if this is the group you are playing with now. Confirming leaves any other party.

Set up bar 8

In the game's HUD editor, open ability bar 8 and set Enabled on, Slots 12, Rows 12, Slot Size 48, Slot Spacing 1, Visible on and Click through on, then move it to the right edge of the screen. The app cannot place abilities. In the game, drag your spirit ability, relics and majors onto bar 8 in the order above. They can stay on your other bars too. You can move bar 8 in the game's HUD editor; keep the slot order.

Slot order

Bar 8, top to bottom: 1 spirit ability, 2 relic 1, 3 relic 2, 4 major 1, 5 major 2, 6 weapon ability, 7 major 3, 8 major 4, 9 to 12 empty. A major is one of your own abilities with a cooldown of 30 seconds or more, longest first.

What the others see

Nobody with that name confirmed within ten minutes.

No state from that member for a few seconds.

No state from that member for half a minute.

(test)

Send sample states (test). Others see your row marked test. It turns off when the app restarts.

Party ended

The party ended. Propose it again to continue.
