- What it is

- Your posts
- Routes and comments you post stay yours. No slurs, hate, harassment or personal information.
- Fair use
- Use your own account, and do not overload or attack the service.
- No warranty
- We build it with care, but it comes as it is.
- Changes
- When these terms change, this page shows the new date.
Who we are
ShadowFellowship is made by ShadowNetwork and run by operator name, set before sign-in opens. ShadowFellowship is a fan-made companion by ShadowNetwork. It is not made, endorsed or supported by the makers of Fellowship.
The app
The Windows app is distributed through the Microsoft Store, under the Store's own terms. It reads the combat-log file the game writes and the parts of the screen you choose, and draws in its own window. It does not modify or read the game process and automates nothing. Whether you use it alongside the game is your choice; we cannot speak for the game's developers.
Your account
- You sign in with your own Discord account and keep it secure.
- Sign the app in only on your own PCs. If you approved a sign-in you did not start, sign that device out on your account at once.
- Sync is for your own setups. Do not upload other people's data, and no player or character names: the server refuses them.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service. We may suspend an account that does.
Your data
What you sync stays yours. We store it only to give it back to you, as the privacy notice explains. You can download it or delete your account at any time.
Your content: routes and comments
These rules cover what you post on the website: the routes you publish (their names, notes and plans) and your comments.
- It stays yours. You keep your rights in what you post. By publishing a route or posting a comment you give ShadowNetwork a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store it, show it, copy it and format it on the website and in the app while it is published, and in backups for up to 14 days after.
- Others can use a published route. Anyone can view it, vote on it and copy it into their own routes (Add to my routes, or a share code for the app) and change their copy for their own use. Copies made before you unpublish stay with the people who made them.
- Not allowed: slurs or hate against any group; harassment, threats or personal attacks; sexual content; personal information about anyone (real names, addresses, contact details, photos), including doxxing; spam, advertising or invite links; pretending to be someone else, a moderator or us.
- The word filter. Route names, notes and comments are checked against a list of slurs and hate terms when you post, and a post that matches is refused (we tell you which part, not which word). Swear words are allowed; the strongest are shown masked.
- Reports and moderation. Anyone signed in can report a route or a comment. An item with several reports is hidden until a moderator looks at it. Moderators can mask, hide or remove anything that breaks these rules and can stop an account from posting; when they do, your item says so (you still see it, with the reason). Every moderation action is logged.
- Appeals. If you think something was hidden or removed by mistake, or your posting was stopped by mistake, write to contact address, set before sign-in opens.
- Removing what you posted. Unpublishing a route takes it off the website at once; deleting a comment removes it. Deleting your account removes everything you posted.
Playing together: names, friends, teams and live runs
- Names. The rules for your content also cover your Fellowship name and the names of teams you make. Do not impersonate other players with your Fellowship name: a moderator may reset a name that does, and you then choose a new one.
- Requests and invites. Do not use friend requests or team invites to harass anyone. Blocking someone stops them; tell us about abuse through Support.
- Live runs are for your friends and teams. Do not share them in ways that show other players' names: the app never sends them, and screenshots of the game are your own responsibility.
No warranty
The app and the website are provided as they are, without any warranty. Game updates can change what the app reads; we fix what we can, as fast as we can. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using them.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms; the date below changes with them. You can stop at any time by deleting your account. If we ever shut the service down, we will give notice on this site first so you can download your data.
