Troubleshooting
What to check when a buff, a number or a relic is not what you expect.
Contents
A buff never shows
Check the three things a buff needs:
- Its bar (Hero buffs or Important hero buffs) is switched on, on Home.
- That bar is placed for your current screen with Position buffs.
- The buff has an icon. A row without a usable icon wears a warning dot in the Buffs list; its tooltip says why.
Home's Running now rows name what is missing, for example Needs setup: not placed for 2560x1440, press Position buffs.
The numbers look wrong
Make sure the icons match the square at the right end of each box: the box is green when they do. At 4K, lower the game's UI Scaling until they fit. ShadowFellowship reads one icon size, 47 px frames.
Relics or spirit stay empty
Switch combat logging on in the game's settings, and check your character name on Home. See Combat logging.
The overlay is missing from my stream
That is on purpose: the overlay is hidden from OBS and screenshots unless you switch that on.
Send us a detection log
When a buff reads wrong, a detection log shows us what the app saw.
- Open the window, go to Home and press Ctrl+Shift+D. A yellow pill appears in Live status: detection log is on.
- Play until the problem happens again.
- Click the pill (or press the keys on Home again) to switch it off.
- Send
detdiag.txtandsave-log.txtfrom the app's settings folder. For the Store app, that folder is inside%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages: open the folder whose name starts withShadowNetwork, thenLocalCache\Roaming. The first line of each session indetdiag.txtnames the full path.
Do not create a marker file by hand: Windows redirects a Store app's settings folder, so a file made in Explorer can land where the app never looks.
