Route Planner
How routes are ranked
Every public route earns points from players. Proven routes rise to Top, new ones always show under New, and routes most players dislike fold away.
Points
- Each upvote adds 1 point, each downvote takes 1 away. One vote per player and route.
- Each player who copies the route into their planner adds 0.5 point: they meant to run it.
- Opens add a little, less and less: 15 opens are worth 1 point, 255 opens 2. Refreshing a page does not count twice.
- Points halve every 90 days after a route was first published, so the lists follow the current season.
Top, Trending and New
Top ranks routes with at least 3 upvotes and 2 points, most points first. Under them, every other route waits under Still collecting votes.
Trending shows routes that gained points in the last 7 days. Recent days count the most: an upvote from today is worth 1, one from 3 days ago half.
New shows every public route, newest first, so a fresh route is always seen.
Folded routes
A route with at least 5 votes and 2 downvotes for every upvote is folded: lists show it as one line with Show anyway, and it never ranks in Top.
Its own page still opens from its link. New upvotes unfold it at once. Folding never removes a route: reports and moderators do that, as before.
How many routes you can post
You can keep 2 public routes for each dungeon and set of affixes (No affixes, Empowered, Empowered + Ghorn, ...), and 40 public routes in total.
Unlisted routes never count: publish as many as you like for people with the link.
New accounts keep 2 per set and 8 in total until the account is 14 days old and its routes have 5 upvotes. The publish window shows how many you have used.
Reports
Votes rank routes; reports protect people. A route or comment that breaks the rules can be reported from its menu, and enough reports hide it until a moderator decides.
Find a route that works
Upvote the routes you ran, downvote the ones that did not work, and publish your own.
